What does old mean these days? Isn’t 40 the new 30 and 30 the new 20, or something like that? But wait a minute: Then 20 would be the new 10, wouldn’t it? Well, that doesn’t work, so let’s leave it at that…

Nobody likes to be considered old. But this is only due to the distorted perspective of our society that is radically geared towards youthfulness. Earlier generations didn’t focus on aspects such as wrinkles and gray hair, but on gaining knowledge and life experience. Us children of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s can hopefully claim to be at least a little wiser, because to be honest, you can’t really call us young anymore.
